Product features

  1. High-efficiency cooling system: Oil-immersed transformers use oil as the main cooling medium to effectively control the temperature of the transformer through oil-immersed self-cooling, oil-immersed air cooling, oil-immersed water cooling or forced oil circulation, which contributes to the stable operation and long-term maintenance of the transformer.
  2. Excellent insulation properties: Transformer oil not only plays a cooling role, but also has good insulation properties, reducing insulation distance and cost.
  3. Strong short-circuit resistance: the winding and core fastening measures, as well as the non-suspended structure design, can withstand the vibration during transportation and operation.
  4. Temperature control: Oil-immersed transformers operate under specified cooling conditions and are equipped with thermometers and possible temperature control systems to monitor the top oil temperature in real time, which usually does not exceed 90°C to ensure that the safety threshold is not exceeded to prevent insulation aging.
  5. Low noise: Due to the buffering effect of the transformer oil, oil-immersed transformers make less noise during operation.
  6. Winding design: Low-voltage windings usually adopt a cylindrical structure wound with copper foil, and high-voltage windings adopt a multi-layer cylindrical structure to ensure balanced ampere-turn distribution and reduce magnetic flux leakage.
  7. Fuel tank design: The fuel tank may adopt a corrugated sheet design, which has a breathing function to compensate for the volume change of the oil due to temperature changes, while preventing the entry of external pollutants.
  8. Excellent sealing performance: Oil-immersed transformers focus on sealing performance to prevent oil leakage and the intrusion of external pollutants.
  9. Diversity of insulation materials: Use insulating cardboard, cable paper, telephone paper and crepe paper as insulation materials. These materials have good insulation properties and durability and provide different insulation protections.
  10. Environmental protection characteristics: Although transformer oil has the possibility of burning, modern oil-immersed transformers will consider environmental protection requirements when designing, such as using vegetable oil as the insulation and cooling medium to meet high environmental protection requirements.
  11. Safety protection devices: including explosion-proof tubes, gas relays, etc., to ensure that pressure can be released in time in the event of internal failure to prevent equipment damage.
  12. Long-term stability: Oil-immersed transformers have good long-term stability and reliability due to their long-term immersion in insulating oil.
